Writing expression is important in learning languages. Teaching this productive skill is crucial because teachers try to teach their learners writing rules of any language. For example, EFL learners (first-year students) learn writing rules of the English language such as (the use of tenses, types of clauses, and sentences) in the first semester. In the second semester, they start learning types of paragraphs like (narrative paragraphs and compare-contrast paragraphs).In addition, teachers make their students aware of various strategies and techniques used in writing different types of paragraphs. The correct use of tenses and linking words used in each type of paragraph are highlighted at the end of each section. By the end of each chapter, learners will be able to produce these two types of paragraphs.
