Having been familiarized with one of the branches of linguistics the previous semester, namely discourse analysis, Master 01 Literature and Civilization students will explore another linguistic field entitled literary Stylistics. As one of the most complicated and innovative fields in linguistics, it tackles the way linguistic elements are employed in literary productions and the meaning they add to a certain literray structure. Accordingly, the course projects a comprehensive understanding of the field. It acquits students with a basic comprehension of definiitons and concepts. Finally, it sheds light on the stylistic method learners adopt in approaching literary texts.
